1. What is Rapid Azure?

Rapid Azure is a hosting portal that empowers Microsoft Dynamics Partners with the right tools to quickly and effortlessly deploy, manage, and re-sell Dynamics GP and NAV on the Azure cloud.

2. How does the Rapid Azure portal work?

Rapid Azure is connected by Azure API. It coordinates and provisions customized Microsoft Dynamics hosting environments based on your configurations. It provides Partners with the ability to re-sell Azure hosted Dynamics GP or NAV as a per-user-monthly subscription.

3. Do I need to be an Azure expert to use the portal?

No.  This is the major benefit of the portal; you don’t need to be an expert. The portal is simple to use and designed to take the guesswork out of provisioning servers, deploying, and managing customer’s Dynamics solutions on Azure.

4. What technical support or post-sale support is provided to Microsoft Partners?

Partners, get access to WatServ’s Azure Tier-3 Infrastructure support. The portal is white-label ready. If required, WatServ will work with you to generate go-to-market strategies and provide white-label marketing material to help you succeed. Portal-Admin-User training is FREE.

5. Are there any fees for using the Rapid Azure portal?

No. The use of the Rapid Azure portal is totally FREE. There is no monthly consumption fee, no portal set-up fee or recurring partnership fee. Hosting services are month-to-month with no long-term contract. The pricing is direct for the Azure hosting environment. Partners have the flexibility to set their own contract terms with their Dynamics customers (example: 12, 24, or 36-month contract).

6. Is this a Single-tenant or a Multi-tenant solution?

Rapid Azure offers 3 possible tenancies:

  1. Single-tenant, Dedicated – Customizable Dynamics GP or NAV solution, with a Dedicated App Server, with on-demand upgrade/updates, and additional benefits associated with Single-tenant hosting.
  2. Single-tenant, Shared – Customizable Dynamics GP or NAV solution, with a Shared App Server, and pre-scheduled upgrade/updates.
  3. Multi-tenant, Shared – Pre-configured Dynamics GP or NAV solution, with a Shared App Server, and pre-scheduled upgrade/updates to all installations.

7. Does Rapid Azure offer a Service Level Agreement (SLA)?

Yes. Selected Azure App Servers offer ‘redundancy’ – when more than 1 server-instance is selected.
Azure SLA – 99.5% Infrastructure Uptime Guarantee.

8. What is a typical Dynamics deployment using the Rapid Azure portal?
